Arlington After-School Program at Hardy
The Hardy School on-site after-school program is run by the the Arlington After School Program. This group runs after-schools at Thompson and Hardy. In 2017, due to demand, the AASP at Hardy started a kindergarten-only program along with the 1-5 grades. Entrance for new parents is by lottery. Limited spots.

KidZone - Arlington Community Education Youth Program
KidZone is Arlington Community Education's After-School enrichment class program. KidZone classes are for grades K-5 and they meet in all of Arlington's elementary schools, including Hardy. Each school has different classes. A flyer and registration form goes out in the beginning of Fall and Spring.

NON-DISTRICT SPONSORED PROGRAMS

Arlington Boys and Girls Club
The Kids Care Club program at the Arlington Boys and Girls Club is offered to children ages 4.9 to 11 years. The program assist in the development of self-awareness and independent thought, instills a sense of positive self image, provide an environment of social adjustment in a peer group setting, and promotes development of physical skills through activities requiring coordination and motivation.

Arlington Children's Center
ACC's school age programs provide a safe, consistent, and fun environment for children in grades 1 through 5. Children have a wide range of activities to choose from. The children are encouraged to organize games, play cooperatively, and resolve conflicts just as they would in their own neighborhoods.

Arlington Kid Care Program
Arlington Recreation Dept. is proud to offer this extended-day program for children in Grades K – 5. Arlington Kid Care, which is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, follows the Arlington Public School calendar with the following exceptions: it is not open when school closes at mid-day for a vacation period or closes early because of bad weather. Early release days are included as long as you are registered for the respective day. Located at the Gibbs Gym.

Fidelity House
Fidelity House is a non-profit community center that offers after school care to children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The School Age Child Care Program provides an environment which encourages the development of greater self-esteem and improves the skills of cooperation, sharing and independence.
